Wales's Energy Mix
Wales is mostly flat some what hilly topography. Situated close to the sea, it gets a constant onshore, offshore breeze. There are large amounts of wide flat under-utilized land all over but the farms and their neighbours are conservative, very protective of the natural environment and their unique scenery. Most people here are highly educated and enjoy a affluent lifestyle. At the moment, most energy comes from the ample North Sea gas fields. However, they are quickly running out and much of the gas is now imported and the price is increasing. The GDP is USD $35,000
